Below, you’ll find crafts and art activities for all ages, from toddlers to tweens. We have turkey crafts, pumpkin pie crafts, decorations for your Thanksgiving table, and a couple of gratitude crafts/activities that the whole family can take part in.
Enjoy!
Thanksgiving Crafts for Kids:
Thankful Tree (with 2-Ingredient Clay Dough Leaves)
Our thankful tree or gratitude tree makes a beautiful centerpiece for your Thanksgiving table. Kids will enjoy making the leaves with our easy baking soda and cornstarch recipe, and the whole family can participate in painting them, and writing on them.
Thankful Turkey (Paper Plate Craft)
Our “thankful turkey” is another creative way to teach the true meaning of Thanksgiving and to encourage kids to reflect on what they’re thankful for.
Fall Leaf Napkin Rings
Our fall leaf napkin rings will add a nice homemade touch to your Thanksgiving table. All ages will love the creative process we used to make the leaves.
Footprint Turkeys
Toddlers and preschoolers will love this footprint turkey craft. They’ll trace their foot to make the turkey’s body, and use a creative art technique (bubble blowing art) to decorate their turkey’s feathers.
Paper Plate Turkeys
Our simple paper plate turkeys will delight toddlers and preschoolers who love painting, mixing colours and cutting with scissors.
Toilet Roll and Paint Chip Turkey
This toilet roll and paint chip turkey is similar to our Thankful Turkeys craft but even easier. Just pick up a few paint sample cards next time you’re at the paint shop, and you’re ready to go.
Painted Rock Turkey
These painted rock turkeys are a great way to use some of those smooth stones that the kids brought home from the beach last summer.
Wine Cork Turkeys
Our wine cork turkeys are fun and easy for kids to make after you’ve uncorked a few bottles for your holiday meal.
CD Turkey
These adorable and easy CD turkeys are easy to make, and a great way to repurpose those old, scratched CDs and DVDs.
Pumpkin Pie Craft with Puffy “Whipped Cream”
Scented with pumpkin pie spices and topped with fluffy “whipped cream”, this paper plate pumpkin pie looks good enough to eat.
Scented Pumpkin Pie Craft with Cotton Ball Whipped Cream
This pumpkin pie craft is even easier to make using cotton balls or pop poms for the whipped topping. Perfect last minute Thanksgiving craft for toddlers and preschoolers.
And our third paper plate pumpkin pie has a filling made with 2-ingredient puffy paint. The texture looks just like real pumpkin pie filling.
