Fall is officially here, and the kids and I have been busy crafting for Thanksgiving. Today, I’ve rounded up 6 of our favourite turkey crafts for your kids to work on this week as you gear up for the holiday weekend.

These are all of the adorable turkeys that we’ve made here in my daycare over the years. They’re easy enough for toddlers and preschoolers, but so fun and cute that all ages will enjoy making them.
I realize that my American friends still have a couple of weeks to go until you celebrate Thanksgiving, but that’s ok! You can pin these ideas so you’ll have them handy when you kick off your Thanksgiving celebrations in November.

6 Turkey Crafts for Kids to Make
Put some of the beach rocks you collected this summer to good use by making these cute little Turkey Rocks. You can use them as paper weights or as place settings at your Thanksgiving table.
These “Thankful Turkeys” are fun and easy to make, and such a colourful and creative way to get kids thinking about all the things they’re thankful for.
I think this paper plate turkey is my favourite Thanksgiving craft this season. I just love a paper plate craft, and the colourful process for making the feathers for these guys is just so fun.
When you uncork your wine before the Thanksgiving feast, let your kids make this sweet little wine cork turkey craft while you put the finishing touches on the real turkey.
Everyone loves a foot print craft, right? And everyone loves blowing bubbles! This fun turkey craft incorporates both! Kids can trace their feet, and turn them into turkeys. Then they can blow some colourful bubbles to decorate their turkey’s feathers with.
And lastly, here’s one of my all-time favourite Thanksgiving crafts for toddlers and preschoolers. Grab a cardboard roll and some paint chip samples, and whip up a few of these simple turkey decorations to display on your Thanksgiving table.
