Shaving cream sensory play with glitter and small toys – a wonderful messy play experience for toddlers and preschoolers.
We were playing with shaving cream last week, and it was a big hit with the kids.
Well, this week we were playing with shaving cream again and we’ve added glitter! and glitter, and we used a better brand of shaving cream. It was incredibly fluffy and wonderful!
As you can see, the car-lovin’ little man preferred to play with the simple cardboard box activity that I set up for him earlier this week. He’s hardly played with anything else for days. He LOVES that box!
Mmm-hmmmm…. I think we’ll be doing this again!

OH BOY! Glitter…you are brave! I used some today and I swear it is in ingrained into my skin!

I know! I’m not usually a big fan of glitter because of the huge mess factor, but when it’s in a contained activity like the foam, or in playdough, I can handle it. lol You’re right about it being ingrained! I rinsed them after and the glitter just kind of stuck to their arms. I’m thinking there will be some floating around in their bath-tubs tonight. 🙂

I just did something similar with my kids, we mixed different colour paints in to the foam, good messy fun. Keep up the good work.
