Tape Resist is a fun and easy way for kids to make name art. You just make a design on your canvas with tape, paint the white space around it and then pull up your tape to reveal your colourful creation!
Today, we’re making our colourful tape resist name art using one of our favourite art techniques.
Tape Resist!!
This art process is so simple but it packs a huge “wow” factor. It’s easy enough to do with toddlers and preschoolers but I promise you, older kids will love it too.
You’ll require very few supplies so this is a wonderful art activity to do with a group of kids i.e. an art party, in the classroom, an afterschool craft group etc.
The results are stunning every single time.
