A paper plate rainbow mandala is a fun craft for toddlers and preschoolers to make for St. Patrick’s Day or just to explore the colours of a rainbow, and learn about colour order.
We’ve made a lot of rainbow crafts here in my daycare over the years, and I’m always trying to think up new ways to make them.
Recently, I got the idea to make a rainbow mandala.
The hooligans love rainbows, and they love creating mandalas, so our paper plate rainbow mandala was the perfect combination of both crafts. And it’s another one to add to our epic A-Z Paper Plate Crafts for Kids collection!
We even suspended a few fluffy, white clouds underneath our mandala to add some extra texture and interest to our craft.
Wouldn’t it look sweet hanging in a window in your home or classroom this spring?
