Fine Motor Activities
Below, you'll find easy-to-set-up fine-motor activities for babies, toddlers and preschoolers to help strengthen fine-motor control and coordination, pincer grip, and hand and finger muscles.
Simple fine-motor activities
Simple activities like playing with playdough, lacing, cutting with scissors, threading buttons and beads, and crumpling tissue paper all help prepare complex skills like writing and using scissors when they're older.
Easy fine-motor crafts
Many of our crafts and homemade toys incorporate these materials and help develop these skills, as do our easy but engaging activities.
We also have more advanced crafts that are great for helping older children to fine tune their motor skills like knitting, weaving, sewing and more!
