apple stamping – a fun fall activity and art project, using apples and real leaves
‘Tis the season for picking juicy, ripe apples off the tree, and I’m seeing a lot of apple crafts happening out there these days, so we decided to do some apple stamping this morning. It’s a good, old fashioned activity that’s easy to prep, and simple enough for even the youngest hooligans to do.
The supply list is short:
- apples
- red paint
- leaves from the garden
- glue
The children dipped their cut apples in the paint and then stamped them along a long piece of white cardboard.
To add interest to our apples, we gathered real leaves from the garden, and the hooligans glued those to the tops of the apples.

Thanks for the idea of adding leaves! I plan to do this with my kinder kids on Friday when they meet with their 3rd grade buddies!
You’re welcome, Cortney! Have fun with it!
