Tissue Paper Mosaic Christmas Ornaments – a fine motor Christmas craft for kids to make and hang on the Christmas tree.
We recently made these gorgeous Tissue Paper Mosaic Ornaments here in my daycare. They were easy to make with just a few supplies. This was an excellent fine motor activity, and the results were really pretty.
Pop over to CBC Parents to see how to make a set of these pretty ornaments for your house! There’s a very good chance that you already have everything you need on hand.

Thanks for all your great ideas. I’m amazed at how you have the time for everything after running your day care. The kids must love going. Just Pinned this to do if we have time with all your other great ideas.

i love your website, thank you so much for sharing. I have a question. have you ever dyed white tissue paper? I live in a small town and can only find white tissue paper. any suggestions would be very helpful. thank you. connie

I haven’t, but we’ve dyed coffee filters, and that’s pretty. You don’t mention where you’re from, but could you order some online from Amazon, Connie?

thank you for your reply. I live in Moberly Missouri. we have one super Wal-Mart, 2 dollar generals, 1 dollar tree and 1 family dollar. however, I experimented with dying the tissue paper and I found mixing food coloring with vinegar in a spray bottle. I hung my tissue paper with clothes hangers then sprayed and let dry…it worked wonderfully. thought you might want to share with your followers.
