I’m so excited to show you our latest rain stick craft. We’re just thrilled with the way they turned out! They’re so vibrant and beautiful, and of course, they sound lovely too!
We make rain sticks every spring here in my daycare, and the toddlers right through to the 8 year olds love the process.
Rain sticks are really easy to make, using supplies you already have around your house. And what I love is that you can decorate them with just about anything. You can paint them, or colour them, or you can cover them with scraps of fabric, yarn or even colourful tape.

I’m looking forward to making a rain stick! Love this idea! We just happen to have these long tubes and I knew they would be great for a craft and now I know just how I want to use them! We son recently decorated an empty roll to make a “telescope”.
