Fabric Scrap Christmas Cards

These homemade fabric scrap Christmas cards are fun for all ages to make, and a great way to use up fabric leftover from larger sewing projects.

Equipment

  • white card stock or blank greeting cards (get them here)
  • scraps of fabric
  • scissors
  • glue stick
  • marker

Instructions

  • If you're using ordinary white card stock, cut it to the size you want and fold it in half.
  • Sketch a few drawings on a scrap piece of paper to get an idea of the size and shapes of the pieces you'll need to cut.
  • With a sharp pair of scissors or fabric shears cut out your pieces.
  • Run a glue stick along the back of your fabric pieces and press them to the front of the card.
  • Use a marker to add extra details to your card and to write your message.
