  • 5 lemons
  • 5 more cups water
Simple Syrup
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
To Make Simple Syrup
  1. Combine 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water in a small pot and stir over medium heat until the sugar has completely dissolved.

  2. Allow to cool while you're squeezing your lemons.

To Make Lemonade
  1. Squeeze lemons with a lemon juicer or a fork (see post for the how-to).

  2. Strain lemon juice into a jug.

  3. Add 5 cups of water.

  4. Add simple syrup to taste.

  5. Chill and serve over ice.
